Bogus purchase orders and fraudulent emails

An important message for potential suppliers to Bellway Homes Limited

We have been alerted that some companies with whom we have no trading relationship are receiving emails and purchase orders allegedly ordering goods from Bellway Homes Limited.  They appear to have been authorised by a director or someone in the purchasing department.  You should disregard such orders as they are fraudulent and not genuine. The purchase order typically instructs delivery to an address that is not affiliated with Bellway. The only websites within the Bellway Group are bellwayplc.co.uk, bellway.co.uk and ashberryhomes.co.uk. A list of companies within the Bellway Group is shown in the notes to the accounts in our latest annual report and accounts.

You should also report the attempted fraud to Action Fraud, the UK’s national reporting centre for fraud and cybercrime in England, Wales and Northern Ireland either online at www.actionfraud.police.uk or by telephoning 0300 123 2040 to speak to their fraud and internet crime specialists.
