Valuing our people is an investment worth making

We’re nothing without great people. It’s really that simple. Whether they’re sitting at our desks or operating our diggers, the people who work for, and with Bellway are our bricks and mortar. It’s crucial that we look after them. That means being a company our people are proud to work for, investing in our people with opportunities to develop their skills, and keeping them safe and well so they can enjoy their time away from work too.

What valuing people looks like

Employer of choice

In an employment market where there’s plenty of choice, we want people to choose Bellway.

Not just for a great salary (we do offer those, though) but for valuable and meaningful benefits, and engaging them in making positive changes within our business that people feel good about.

Training and skills development

Meeting (and smashing) ambitious targets starts with having ambitious people on our team.

We invest in training and skills development across our business so that everyone reaches their full potential, taking care to provide equitable opportunities for people underrepresented in construction, and people who face other barriers to entering our industry.

Health and safety

Our people need to be supported to show up as their best selves every day. Both physically, especially for on-site workers, and mentally, for everyone.

From training up Mental Health First Aiders to taking a proactive approach to health and safety on our sites, we’re making sure our people always get home to the people who love them.
