Homes that are built right, for now and for the future

A Bellway home is so much more than the sum of its bricks. It’s the result of many people’s hard work, talent, and experience. It’s someone’s safe place, which they’ll cherish until it becomes someone else’s safe place. Building our homes right means our people feel proud of what they’ve helped to create, our customers feel good about choosing to buy with us, and our homes and our business are equally ready for the future.

What building sustainable homes looks like

Customer experience

From walking through our Welcome Centre door, to walking through their new front door, we give our customers an experience they’ll want to shout about for all the right reasons.

Retaining our HBF 5-star housebuilder status tells us we’re doing it right, but it comes down to so much more than stars on a plaque. It’s buyers placing their trust in us with finding the place that feels like home.

Building compliance and quality

We build quality, reliable homes that meet rigorous building regulations, and surpass customer expectations.

Our pragmatic and proactive approach to housebuilding considers our changing climate whilst mitigating further impact. In short, we’re building homes for the lives our customers lead now, and the ones they’ll lead in the future.

Climate change

Our carefully considered climate strategy is key to managing risk and reducing emissions, whilst getting ready for changes in regulations, technology, and market expectations.

We’ve set ambitious targets for reducing our environmental impact while making increases where they really count – like building more timber-frame homes, and getting our suppliers on board with our sustainability programme. We’re all in this together, after all.

Resource efficiency

We can do more, with less. We’re working closely with our site teams to improve our material use efficiency and understand where we can reduce our impact on the environment.

From bricks and waste to energy and water, it all matters, and it all counts. It’s better value for our business and better news for the planet.

Responsible sourcing

Being a responsible business means working with other businesses that align with our values and ambitions.

Our supplier sustainability programme brings our key partners on the journey with us in an engaged, actionable, and measurable way.
