Double Pride in the Job success for Bellway’s Peter Lawrie

Bellway Project Manager Peter Lawrie is celebrating after being named the NHBC Pride in the Job Regional Award winner for Scotland for the second time.

Peter, who manages Earl’s Way in Glenrothes, received the Large Builder Regional Award after progressing through the Quality Award and Seal of Excellence stages of the prestigious competition.

The achievement means Peter will now represent Scotland at the UK Supreme Awards Final in London in January, where he will compete against other Regional Award winners from across the country.

It is Peter’s second Regional Award for his work at Earl’s Way, having previously taken the title in 2023. He has also achieved ten Quality Awards and six Seals of Excellence during his career.

Peter said: “This is a huge testament to the contractors and everyone involved in the development. The award belongs to the whole team and not myself. I am extremely proud of what we have achieved at Earl’s Way and grateful to everyone who has played a part.”

The NHBC Pride in the Job Awards recognise excellence in site management and are among the most highly regarded awards in the housebuilding industry. Site managers undergo a rigorous judging process covering all aspects of their work, with Regional Award winners selected in the small, medium, large builder and multi-storey categories.

Earl’s Way is located on Coater Road, around a mile from Glenrothes town centre. The development is nearing completion, with a range of four-bedroom homes currently available.
