Staff and residents came together to enjoy garden games, refreshing summer drinks and a barbecue at three Bellway developments in Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.
The parties took place at the following streets:
A similar summer event for residents was also held at Pinewood Grange, in Stowmarket.
Deana and Stephen Bird, who attended the street part at Ivy Hill, are enjoying life at their new home in Bacton.
Deana said: “Ivy Hill residents have been very welcoming since we arrived, and there is a real community feel here.
“The wider village also has a warmth to it, with many events including Bacton Fayre, St Mary’s Fete - and a well-used village hall.
“Seeing things like cows in the field, ducklings crossing the road, and Muntjacs is a wonderful sight. We couldn’t think of a better place to live.”
Mia Roussos, Sales Director at Bellway Eastern Counties, said: “When it comes to naming our streets, we do our best to reflect the heritage of the site and the local area. And it seemed only right to celebrate the opening of these new streets with residents who now call these developments their home.
“These events are not just a milestone celebration, but also a perfect way for people to meet their neighbours and create what we hope will be lasting friendships.
“We can see active, supportive communities springing up on each development, and with more homes now available, those communities can continue to grow.”
