Bellway hosts Easter egg hunt at Great Dunmow development

Children followed the trail of the Easter Bunny as they went on a hunt for eggs at a Bellway development in Great Dunmow.

Bellway hosted the fun family event at its Sapphire Fields at Great Dunmow Grange development, where it is building new homes off Stortford Road.

Gigantic carrots made from balloons greeted families at the entrance to the sales office, and the Easter-themed decorations continued in the showhome garden with an inflatable chick, knitted carrots and cardboard hares leaping along the fences.

Donning bunny ears and Easter bonnets, the youngsters went in search of the brightly coloured plastic eggs containing treats which had been placed around the garden. And those who were lucky enough to find a golden egg could exchange this for a larger egg of a chocolate variety.

Kate Jones, Sales Manager for Bellway Essex, said: “Our Easter Egg Hunt at Sapphire Fields at Great Dunmow Grange was a lovely family occasion and a great way to celebrate the start

of Easter. The children all seemed to have a lot of fun searching for the hidden eggs and, of course, receiving their chocolate ones!

“The event was a great opportunity to have an enjoyable day out with the kids, meet other local families and also take a look around our two showhomes at the development, which had both been decorated with an Easter-theme specially for the occasion.”

Bellway is building 266 homes at Sapphire Fields at Great Dunmow Grange, on land off Stortford Road. The development will comprise 181 properties for private sale and 85 affordable homes for low-cost rent or shared ownership. The homes for sale include a mix of two, three and four-bedroom houses.
