Car lovers come together in Cardiff to support Cancer Research UK

Bellway brought car enthusiasts together in Cardiff recently for a Cars & Coffee event in support of its national charity partner, Cancer Research UK.

Hosted at Bellway’s Wales division head office in St Mellons, the event welcomed more than 100 owners of classic, retro and modern cars. Brewed at 90 Degrees kept everyone fuelled with refreshments, while attendees made donations on the day, raising a total of £2,030 for the charity.

Simon Hughes, Development Manager for Bellway Wales, said: “This was a brilliant event, with people coming together to share their passion for cars while supporting a really important cause.

“We had an amazing range of vehicles on display, spanning every decade from the 1960s to today. From British classics like MG, TVR and Lotus, to Japanese favourites including Honda, Toyota and Nissan, and eye-catching Italian supercars from Lamborghini and Ferrari, there was something for everyone to enjoy. So many people asked when the next event would be, which would be fantastic to see.”

He added: “A huge thank you also goes to our event photographer, Rachel Davies of @she.drives.the.lens, for capturing the day so perfectly. This is the second year we’ve hosted Cars & Coffee, and it’s especially rewarding knowing it helps support such a deserving charity.”

Bellway has supported Cancer Research UK for more than 10 years and has raised over £5 million for the charity during that time.
