Bellway has supported St Kenelm’s Primary School Summer Fayre for the second year in a row.Bellway has supported St Kenelm’s Primary School Summer Fayre for the second year in a row.
The school, based in Romsley, received a £250 donation towards their raffle from the housebuilder, which is building nearby at its Harvino development.
It is the housebuilder’s second year supporting the fayre, which took place on 20 June and also featured face painting, carnival games, local art and craft stalls, a tombola, and a bouncy castle.
Leah Jacques, Secretary of the Home School Association, said: “St Kenelm’s Summer Fayre is one of the highlights of our school calendar, bringing together pupils, families, staff, local businesses and the wider community for a fun-filled afternoon while raising valuable funds for the school.
“This year, we decided to run our raffle a little differently by introducing Gold, Silver and Bronze 100-square boards, each offering a range of fantastic prizes. Thanks to Bellway’s generous sponsorship, we were able to offer a £250 top prize on our Gold board. The prize was won by a very surprised and delighted parent, creating a memorable moment and generating great excitement around the raffle.”
Angela Nurse, Sales Manager at Bellway West Midlands, said: “We supported St Kenelm’s Summer Fayre for the first time in 2025, and it has been fantastic to continue our relationship with the school through this year’s event.
“As a responsible builder, Bellway strives to engage with the local community to make a positive difference, and this event is a great example of that – bringing families together for a fun-filled day in aid of a great cause. We’re so pleased the fayre was a success and look forward to working with the school again in the future.”
Leah added: “Fundraising events such as our Summer Fayre play an important role in helping us enhance opportunities for our pupils, and we are incredibly grateful for Bellway’s support. Their contribution helped make our raffle a success and directly supports our efforts to provide improved facilities and experiences for our school community.”
