Smarter homes, lower footprints

Raise the bar

Climate change demands bold action, and we’re rising to that challenge. Through science-based targets and a commitment to industry wide innovation, we’re reducing our emissions and helping to shape a lower carbon future.

Future homes

Our homes are set to become dramatically cleaner and more efficient, with the Future Homes Standard enabling a 75–80% reduction in carbon emissions compared with previous regulations. It marks a powerful step toward a more sustainable built environment.

At Bellway, we’re proud of the progress we’ve already made, and we’re energised by the opportunity to go even further. By placing operating responsibly at the heart of our strategy, we’re strengthening our commitment to lower our carbon footprint and build homes that contribute positively to the world around us.

Our progress so far

  • We are a key partner in the industry leading Energy House 2.0 project at University of Salford, proving the Future Homes Standard can be delivered at scale.
  • We are proud to have met our 2030 scope 1 & 2 emissions reduction target five years early.
  • We have delivered over 1,000 'all-electric' homes, significantly reducing their lifetime carbon emissions.
