More life, more balance, more possibility

Our BNG+ promise

Bellway remains committed to effectively integrating nature into all elements of the business, ensuring that we lead the sector by example and exceed minimum BNG requirements where possible, providing genuine nature gains and wide-ranging customer benefits.

Help for the experts

As a company, we’re trying to shape vibrant, long lasting communities where people genuinely love to live. Every place we create is designed with care for the natural world, protecting and nurturing the local environment so it can thrive.

We’re also building meaningful partnerships with environmental NGOs to open up inspiring volunteering opportunities for Bellway colleagues and local residents. Through these collaborations, we’re strengthening our long term ambition to deliver sustainable, climate resilient developments across the UK – places that support both people and the planet.

Our progress so far

  • We partnered with conservation charity Plantlife, to bring more natural sustainable habitats to our developments.
  • Working with Plantlife, we created a Management Guide to showcase best practice for our Management Companies.
  • We are a signatory to Future Homes Hub 'Homes for Nature' pledge.
  • We have introduced our Bellway BNG+ promise, our commitment to go beyond the minimum requirement.
