Bellway launches showhome and view home at its Clavering Park development in Bexhill-on-Sea
A showhome and view home have been launched at Bellway’s Clavering Park development in Bexhill-on-Sea.
Both are three-bedroom houses. The showhome is in Bellway’s Fuller house style and the view home is a Coppersmith design.
Both are part of Bellway’s Life collection of homes which includes features to make them more accessible and adaptable for wheelchair users.
Cllr Connor Winter from Bexhill Town Council and Rother District Council was among around 100 visitors who attended the opening of the two properties.
Cllr Winter said: “It was a pleasure to attend the launch of Bellway’s new show home and view home at Clavering Park. It’s encouraging to see new homes being designed with accessibility in mind, ensuring that people with different mobility needs can live comfortably and independently. The ‘Life’ homes here are a great example of how thoughtful design – from step-free access to wider doorways and adaptable spaces – can make a real difference for residents now and in the future.”
As ‘Life’ homes, the showhome and view home both feature step-free access to the properties, wider hallways and doorways, more spacious downstairs cloakrooms to allow for them to be converted to a shower room if needed in the future, and clear access zones around windows and beds.
Bellway is building 70 properties at Clavering Park including 21 affordable homes. The development will comprise 66 homes which are more accessible and adaptable.
