Bellway opens new residents-only gym at Crossways Quarter in Greenhithe
Residents were given work-out tips from a personal trainer when an exclusive state-of the-art gym opened its doors at Bellway’s Crossways Quarter development in Greenhithe.
Top trainer Neil Cribben was on hand to give out the expert advice at the unveiling of the residents-only gym on Saturday 10 January at the development, off Crossways Boulevard.
Bellway Thames Gateway is delivering 258 one, two and three-bedroom apartments at Crossways Quarter, which is located on a site between St Mary’s Road and Crossways Boulevard.
Carolyn Webb, Sales Manager at Bellway Thames Gateway, donned her gym kit and Neil put her through her paces on a number of pieces of equipment at the brand-new facility, which features exercise bikes, rowing machines, weights and resistance machines.
A number of residents attended the launch of the gym and were given exercise advice and a goodie bag.
Carolyn said: “It was great to open this fabulous state-of-the-art gym which is packed with all the latest equipment to help people keep fit and lead a healthy lifestyle. Personal trainer Neil certainly gave me a few handy tips for my own work-out sessions and was able to give expert advice to the residents about best practice when it comes to using the equipment in the gym.
“This superb exclusive facility, which will be short walk for our residents at Crossways Quarter, offers a bright and welcoming private place where people can feel safe as they exercise. The gym will also, no doubt, quickly become a meeting place where neighbours get together to embrace a healthy lifestyle.”
Crossways Quarter consists of 232 apartments for private sale. Two linked apartment buildings surround a podium courtyard while the other blocks are arranged around a central park.
Carolyn said: “We launched a Workhub at Crossways Quarter last year and it has proved to be very popular with residents who work from home and can use it to maintain a separation between their home life and work.
“Construction is progressing very well at Crossways Quarter. We have handed over the keys to 92 apartments with their residents now moved in.”
