Bellway Scotland East's Christmas mission
Eight staff from Bellway Scotland East division recently volunteered to help Mission Christmas Cash for Kids, a charity which the housebuilder has supported for a number of years.
The volunteers spent the day at the depot at Lochside View, Edinburgh Park sorting out all the toys ready for distribution. In addition, staff donated gifts suitable for children to be distributed to worthy causes.
The charity, which is supported by celebrity duo Ant and Dec, aims to ensure that as many UK children as possible living in poverty at Christmas receive a gift.
Lynn Pringle, Sales Director for Bellway Scotland East, said, “Driven by volunteers the work this charity does is exceptional at this time of year, which is busy enough. I’m grateful that colleagues rallied round and kindly gave up their time to help.
“Hopefully our efforts will bring a smile to many children on Christmas Day.”
