Bellway unveils new four-bedroom showhome at development in Margate
Bellway Kent has opened a new showhome at its Navigators Walk development in Margate.
The four-bedroom Weaver house was officially unveiled at a launch event which featured a nine-hole crazy golf course.
It was the first showhome to be opened by Bellway Kent’s new sales manager Cheryl Ubsdell after she recently joined the company.
Cheryl said: “This was a very special occasion for me because it was the first showhome opening I have been involved with since joining Bellway Kent as a sales manager. It was lovely to welcome so many visitors to the development and give them a tour of our gorgeous new showhome. It was also great to see our guests having fun on the crazy golf course which we set up at the front of the development.”
Bellway is building 250 homes at Navigators Walk, on land off Manston Road. This will include a range of two, three and four-bedroom homes for private sale, as well as 45 affordable homes for local people.
Cheryl said: “I am really excited about working with the sales team in the division and it’s great to join a housebuilder which puts sustainability at the forefront of everything it does. At Navigators Walk, for instance, we are creating a large, green open space to the north of the site which will be home to play and recreation areas, along with new wildlife habitats and a pond.
“All the homes will have electric vehicle charging points to enable residents to use more sustainable forms of travel and solar PV panels to help reduce carbon emissions and cut energy bills.
“Navigators Walk is in a fantastic location just a few miles from the beaches at Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate. The development’s proximity to the coast is reflected in the design of one of the bedrooms in the showhome which has been created as a haven for a teenage surfer.”
As part of its Countdown to Christmas campaign, Bellway Kent is offering a five per cent deposit paid incentive on selected homes at Navigators Walk to buyers who reserve before Christmas.
