Bellway welcomes first visitors to new Hare’s Leap development in Henham
Bellway welcomed visitors to its new Hare’s Leap development in Henham, as construction work nears completion on the first homes at the site.
The housebuilder officially opened a sales suite and showhome during a launch weekend on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 November, with a number of existing and new buyers attending over the two days.
Bellway is building 45 homes at Hare’s Leap, on land off Mill Road. There will be 27 properties for private sale, featuring a range of three, four and five-bedroom executive homes, as well as 18 affordable homes for low-cost rent or shared ownership. All private homes will have solar PV panels and electric vehicle charging points.
Construction work began in December 2024 and the first residents are due to move into their completed homes in January.
Matthew Saw, Sales Manager at Hare’s Leap, said: “With the first homes nearing completion, it was great to be able to welcome current and prospective buyers to Hare’s Leap for the first time. The launch event gave people the opportunity to see how the development is taking shape, find out more about the types of houses we are building here, and explore our fully furnished four-bedroom Hedingham showhome.

Hare’s Leap will feature six acres of parkland with a children’s play area incorporated into the public open space.
A selection of four and five-bedroom new homes are currently available to reserve at Hare’s Leap, with prices starting at £650,000.
