Chipstead football team scores new sponsorship deal with Bellway
A youth football team in Chipstead has netted a new sponsorship deal with a local housebuilder.
Bellway South London has donated £1,140 to provide a new full kit for Chipstead FC’s under-16s Saturday team, which plays in the Epsom and Ewell Youth Football League. The club is based just three miles from the housebuilder’s regional head office in Redhill.
The sponsorship deal has funded the side’s match day shirts, tracksuit tops, shorts and socks for this season.
Chipstead FC, which was founded in 1906, is based at the NRT Stadium in High Road in the village and has more than 200 players and 21 teams, starting with the under-7s.
Philip Masini, manager of the under-16s Saturday team, said: “On behalf of the Chipstead U16s, I would like to express our gratitude to Bellway for its sponsorship. Thanks to this contribution, we were able to purchase brand-new kits that the boys are absolutely thrilled with.
“Bellway’s backing is more than just financial – it’s a message to our team that a large company, which is building new houses in the area, believes in their potential. From all of us at Chipstead, we want to thank Bellway for helping us achieve our goals, both on and off the field.
“We’re proud to wear the company name on our shirts and tracksuit tops and we look forward to making our sponsors proud as we progress through the season. Over the years, we have progressed from the seventh division to the first division in the Epsom and Ewell Youth Football League and this year are going all out to try to gain promotion to the premier division.”
