Ewa set to represent Scotland on global stage thanks to Bellway
An aspiring dancer has had her dream come true thanks to a donation from Bellway Homes.
Twelve-year-old Ewa Garsztka from Uddingston has qualified to represent Scotland in the Dance World Cup taking place in Spain in July.
Ewa, who trains almost daily at CMDA Studio, has qualified with three solos, three duos with her partner Lily Watson and eight group dances with her team.
The event, which takes place in Burgos from the 3rd to the 12th July, attracts young people from 72 different countries and is described as the “Olympics of dance”.
Bellway’s West Division, which is based at Hamilton Business Park, donated £500 to help pay for Ewa’s solo costumes.
Pauline Coates, Sales Director, Bellway Homes Ltd (Scotland West) said: “Ewa is very talented and determined. It’s fantastic she is going to represent Scotland in Spain. We wish her all the best and can’t wait to hear how she gets on.”
Ewa’s mum, Bogusia, added: “Ewa has been training hard and is looking forward to representing Scotland at this prestigious event. We’re grateful to Bellway for their generous support.”
