First time buyers rediscover urban charm

First time buyers have fallen back in love with urban locations which are topping their wish list of places to set up home.
Research shows that the appeal of city locations is up by 16% as first time buyers are attracted by having daily conveniences on their doorstep.
Such sentiment is shared at Ashberry Homes development Ferry Grove at Braehead which has seen a surge in interest in first time buyers.
Pauline Coates, Sales Director, Ashberry Homes said, “You don’t get much more urban than Braehead with the shopping and leisure centre on your doorstep and that’s what we’re finding first time buyers want – to be close to shops and bars with an easy commute to work.”
Located on Laymoor Avenue, Ferry Grove features five individual blocks of one and two bedroom apartments. A range of two bedroom terrace and three and four bedroom homes will shortly be available.
Each apartment varies in floor space however, they all feature an open-plan fitted kitchen and living area, two bedrooms, including an ensuite with the master bedroom, fitted bathroom, storage within the entrance hall and a Juliet balcony. All the apartment benefit from solar panels and communal EV charging points. Prices range from £165,995 for a one bedroom apartment to £201,995 for a two bedroom option.
