Homebuilder to unveil wildflower meadow and play area at Kingsfleet Park in Trimley St Martin
A wildflower meadow and a children’s play area are to be unveiled in Trimley St Martin at a special family-friendly event.
The meadow and play area are part of Bellway’s new Kingsfleet Park development, and they will be opened to the public on Saturday 28 June as part of the launch of the sales centre and showhomes.
The wildflower meadow features a viewing platform and is just one of several wildflower areas set to be created at the development along with provision of green open spaces and a community orchard.
As part of its planning agreement for the 139-home scheme, Bellway has committed to investing £1.2 million in local infrastructure and services including education and transport. It will also provide land for a new building for Trimley St Martin Primary School.
Bellway Essex Sales Manager Emma Hawkins said: “We hope the new flower meadow and play area will be enjoyed by the whole community, not just those who come to live at Kingsfleet Park.

The launch event starts at 11am on Saturday 28 June and there will be face painting, a colouring station and an ice cream van as well as the opening of the new play area.
Two showhomes – in Bellway’s three-bedroom Mason and four-bedroom Jeweller styles – will also be unveiled at the event.
