More than 600 homes built by Bellway in Swindon over the past eight years as first phase of Redlands Grove nears completion
Construction work is nearing completion on the first phase of Bellway’s Redlands Grove development in Wanborough, taking the housebuilder past the milestone of 600 homes built in Swindon over the past eight years.
Bellway has now completed most of the 81 homes being delivered in phase one at Redlands Grove, with 60 properties occupied and all but one sold. Work has also begun on a second phase of 97 homes at the development, which is located on land off Wanborough Road.
Redlands Grove forms part of a wider neighbourhood of 370 homes which is taking shape on a 46-acre site on the former Redlands Airfield at the eastern edge of the town.
It is the sixth development Bellway has built in Swindon over the past eight years, following the completion of five other sites across the town which delivered 592 homes between them.

When completed, Redlands Grove will comprise 145 properties for private sale and 33 affordable homes for low-cost rent or shared ownership.
