New development opens at Rowden Park Garden Village near Chippenham
A new development has opened at Rowden Park Garden Village, south of Chippenham, where the first homes are under construction.
Bellway is building 225 homes at Rowden Chase, which forms phases four and five of the wider 1,000-home project.
The first homes were released for sale at Rowden Chase on Saturday 18 October, including a mix of three and four-bedroom houses. Showhomes are planned to open next spring.

Rowden Chase will comprise 157 two to five-bedroom houses for private sale and 68 affordable homes – including one and two-bedroom apartments and two and three-bedroom houses – available for local people through low-cost rent or shared ownership.
The development has been designed to reflect local architecture in Wiltshire, with houses in brick and render, and the use of stone for some key corner properties.
All homes will have solar panels and electric vehicle charging points, while the layout of the development will feature public open space and footpath links, as well as tree planting and wildlife habitats.
There’s now a choice of three and four-bedroom homes available to reserve at Rowden Chase, with prices starting from £405,000.
