Work ahead of schedule at Parsonage Place in Otham, with more than a third of new homes now built
Work is progressing ahead of schedule at Bellway’s Parsonage Place development in Otham, where 151 of the 421 homes planned are already complete.
Bellway has prioritised the delivery of affordable housing at Parsonage Place, with 69 of the completed homes already handed over to West Kent housing association. The remaining homes built are private homes which are now occupied by their new owners.
Meanwhile, the homes which are under construction and due for completion later in the year comprise 57 further affordable homes for Golding Homes, and an additional seven private homes.
Mark Harrop, Sales Director for Bellway Kent, said: “Parsonage Place is now really beginning to take shape with 151 homes now occupied by their new residents.
“This is an attractive new neighbourhood with a real mix of homes – both apartments and houses, private and affordable – ensuring that it has a real community feel.

Darrell Wilson has won Quality Awards from the National House Building Council (NHBC) for the high standards of construction at Parsonage Place for the past two years.
Bellway is contributing £5 million towards improvements to infrastructure and facilities in the local area as part of the planning agreement for the new homes.
Over £2.75 million of this is being provided through the Community Infrastructure Levy, while over £1.4 million is going towards primary education and £124,000 to fund cycle routes. Bellway Kent has also constructed a new car park for St Nicholas Church to benefit the wider community.
There’s currently a choice of two, three and four-bedroom new houses available to reserve at Parsonage Place, with prices starting at £314,995.
