New community forming at Bellway’s Pinchbeck Fields in Pinchbeck
More than half of the homes at a new Bellway development in Pinchbeck have been occupied by residents, as a new community begins to form.
So far, the keys to 56 out of the 96 new homes have been handed over at Pinchbeck Fields, which is situated on the former Redmile Nursery site off Warden Tree Lane.
Construction is progressing well at the development, with two-thirds of the 72 three and four-bedroom houses for private sale now built and 12 of the 24 affordable homes now handed over and occupied.
Steve Smith, Sales Director at Bellway East Midlands, said: “The fact that more than half of the homes here at Pinchbeck Fields have been occupied by new residents is a significant milestone in the transformation of this former nursery site into a vibrant neighbourhood, which is providing much-needed new homes for the area.
“There has been incredible demand from local people. We have had first-time buyers, young couples, people downsizing, older couples and lots of families buying here. Local buyers know that they can get a lot of house for their money at Pinchbeck Fields, which is close to Spalding with its shops, supermarkets, parks and popular leisure centre.
“The three and four-bedroom houses are perfect for families, who have been drawn here by the excellent secondary education provision locally at the well-regarded Spalding Grammar School, Spalding High School and Spalding Academy. We have already opened the playground on site and it is great to see and hear children playing there while their parents watch on.
“Construction is moving forward apace and the build programme is scheduled to be completed on site by September 2026.”
As part of the planning agreement for the development, Bellway is contributing approximately £200,000 towards primary education and more than £40,000 towards local healthcare services.
There is currently a choice of three and four-bedroom new homes available to reserve at Pinchbeck Fields, with prices starting at £265,000.
